"Whilst I was out doing field research for TWMP, I had this idea for a refrigerator that could work off-grid to help people in refugee camps with poor electricity access. I was looking for a Design Engineer who could help me bring my idea to life so I could get funding to develop it further. Wisdom used his expertise in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics help me develop my idea from just abstract words in my mind, into a well-thought-out design and working prototype for a product that could truly meet the needs of our users. I am now working on getting my idea for The Refrigeration Project developed further so it can be mass-produced. OUR STORY
WED was set up by Wisdom Ejuetami as a platform to apply his expertise to help small businesses solve problems they face with new product development and to pursue his interest in developing products that solve problems and create positive impact in the world. WED started out informally in September 2020 as voluntary work to get experience in industry and with much insight, faith, hard work and perseverance has since developed into a professional design studio business with systems to achieve better outcomes and scale over time.
